Origin of the Mother’s Day Biscuits and Miss Sallie’s little history.

Growing up in 1970s Australia, Miss Sallie spent her time crafting various biscuits. Limited by the era’s scarce ingredients and the high cost of luxuries like chocolate, she learned to improvise rich chocolate flavours using cocoa powder, butter, and sugar.

Her parents, belonging to an older generation, imparted traditional baking wisdom, allowing her to create remarkable biscuits.

It wasn’t until recently that she ventured into making sugar biscuits and then realised that she had been making beautiful sweet biscuits all her cooking life. This delightful addition to the Mother’s Day Biscuits gift pack she has thoughtfully assembled.

Description of our Mother’s Day Gift Pack

These biscuits are made sweet, a little crunchy and mainly flavoured with vanilla and cinnamon. Miss Sallie’s Cuisine created the Mothers Day Biscuits pack to celebrate each beloved mum. Using almond, cinnamon and vanilla paste combine well which gives a well rounded taste in this biscuit. Then decorated with coloured fondant, sprinkles, glitter and sweet pearls.

You will find in the pack there are;

4 Large Biscuits,

2 Medium and

3 Small biscuits

To ensure freshness we will pack each biscuit separately. Each Mothers Day Biscuits pack comes in a white windowed box.
