As a child, I began my culinary journey alongside my mother, with cupcakes being one of our earliest creations. Back then, our modest means and availibilty made it challenging to obtain what many consider staples today, such as chocolate and unsalted butter. Yet, those simple cupcakes were a delight—straightforward, scrumptious, and a joy for a child to make.

Unlike the elaborate confections of today, adorned with buttercream frosting or ganache, the cakes we made were charmingly unpretentious—fairy and butterfly cakes. Over the years, I’ve honed the art of baking these delightful treats, mastering the buttercream frosting and the creation of a cupcake flower bouquet that has become a favorite for many.

Artfully piped into exquisite floral designs such as roses, rosebuds, and peonies. These six cupcakes are then meticulously arranged into a stunning bouquet. Interwoven with decorative faux flowers, fillers, and ribbons. Culminating in a breathtaking cake bouquet that’s as visually stunning as it is delicious
