Smash Cake

Miss Sallie’s history of this cake.

A customer contact me about ordering a smash cake. I was not really aware of them but i did a little research, and found that people like to have these gorgeous little cakes made for their child”s or grandchilds first birthday, which the child can “destory” or smash.Thinking this was a bit bizzare, a test smash cake was made and Miss Sallie found that the making and decorating it was so much fun. So much so that she decided to incorporate it as one of my cakes in my product range.

What is the smash Cake

This cake is similar to a cupcake cake but made in a 10cm tin. The cake is a plain vanilla flavoured moist sponge. Our smash cake is sandwiched together with either apple or pear. It is then iced and decorated with a beautiful pastel buttercream frosting piped in a swirly, starry and floral pattern. You have a choice of colours to pick from.

The people or person who will receives this order of cheesscake will get them in a white cupcake cardboard box. These boxes are recyclable or compostable. Also at Miss Sallie’s Cuisine we offer a small gift card upon request. Provide us with a small message if this cake is a gift, and we can provide a gift card free of charge.
