Miss Sallie’s little history of Cupcakes

When i was a child i started cooking with my mum, cupcakes were one of the first things i cooked. When i was a child we did not have a lot of money and it was a lot harder to get common things we take for granted today, like chocolate, unsalted butter. Cupcakes were straight foraward and delicious and fun for kids to make. When we made them with my mum they were nothing like todays with all the buttercream frosting or ganache. Our cakes were fairy and butterfly cakes. Over recent years i have perfected these delicious little cakes and the buttercream frosting that most people enjoy now.

Decription of the cupcakes

You have a choice of 4 cupcake flavours. Vanilla the original flavour, Chocolate, or the refreshing flavour of Orange.

The cupcakes are soft and moist and have a nice crumb, you can choose the Flavour of your choice and then we add the the topping of buttercream frosting in the design of Flowers; like roses, roes buds and peonies. The cupcakes (6) are then use to make a bouquet and filled with decorative faux flowers and fillers, along with ribbons and other decorative pieces to make a cake bouquet.
